Medical Insurance Programs offered by the Colleges

The medical insurance program for benefit-eligible employees will be offered through Aetna beginning January 1, 2008. The Colleges will no longer offer coverage through Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield and Preferred Care after December 31, 2007.

Aetna provides three programs to choose from:

a) Open Access Elect Choice (In-Network coverage only)
b) Open Access Managed Choice (In- and Out-of-Network coverage)
c) Aetna Health Fund HSA-OAMC (Health Savings Account and High Deductible Plan with In- and Out-of-Network coverage)
