Personal Statement:
Doing research on Greek Orthdox women in Greece, being hosted as a keynote speaker at a conference on Metaphor and Cognition in Törun Poland, and teaching and writing on bidisciplinary topics with colleagues at Hobart and William Smith Colleges have been highpoints for me. I am now researching and writing a third book on science and religion with my colleague, Allan Russell, that will address the relationship between religious mystical experience and the process of scientific invention and discovery.
